For all of you keeping score at home this marks the very first time in the domestic market we have released an IDOL series ball featuring our MicroTrax Pearl coverstock. Yes, you read that correctly. Never in the history of ever have we matched our nanoparticle pearl coverstock on this legendary core shape. Why you ask? That’s a good question. But that’s neither here nor there. The time was right, and that time is now! We felt following up the original solid with a pearl that provides the optimum traction footprint in oil while providing plenty of responsiveness down lane was exactly what the world needed. But after countless seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks of computer research and testing, we figured out that density changes to this particular block and slug when placed in A.I. Core technology provided us with a motion we hadn’t seen before. And after multiple on lane tests, it was a quick and easy decision that we just had to wrap this baby with the time tested and proven eTrax™ PLUS Pearl Reactive coverstock to give us an overall reaction unlike anything offered on earth today. Stronger and more angular! The Scorpion Strike is the most skid-flip reaction Hammer has introduced in this line, thanks to HK22-Semtex Pearl and the LED 3.0 core. The Scorpion Strike complements the line by fitting just below the strong skid-flip asymmetric balls and the Hazmat, but it is stronger and more angular than the Vibes. The Scorpion Strike has a striking appearance and will quickly become a Hammer fan favorite.

The Radioactive Vibe was the boldest-looking Vibe ever produced, and it rolls incredibly. We are kicking the boldness and performance of the line up a notch with the new Arctic Vibe. This Vibe will stand out for its bright white and purple mix, and its screaming backend. Hammer has not produced many two-color Vibes or hybrid options; the Arctic Vibe was strategically developed to enhance the line and not replace the two previously released Vibes since they are still going strong. HK22 – CT Reactive Max is undoubtedly too much cover for this price point, it causes the Arctic Vibe to outperform anything in its category, and that’s ok because Hammerheads will love it!

We did it again! Improving an already incredible line isn’t easy, but we managed to do it again with the new Black Widow 3.0. Each Widow release in recent years has been more popular than the previous and has taken ball reaction to new levels, and the Black Widow 3.0 will not be an exception. The Black Widow 3.0 is an incredible complement to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid; it has surface and tractions more in oil, making it a great ball to pull out of your bag first. The new Black Widow 3.0 is a solid reactive, much like the Black Widow 2.0, but the cover has been upgraded with a solid version of HK22 and has the same out-of-the-box surface as the Black Widow 2.0. HK22 gives the new Black Widow an advantage on medium to oily lanes, and Hammer fans will be excited when they see that it’s the traditional black and orange Hammer colors.

The Silver Sniper™ is the latest spare ball utilizing MOTIV® TruShot™ Polythane technology, which provides the performance of polyester with the durability of urethane. Combining this cover technology with the proven Hollow-Point core, the Silver Sniper™ is precisely engineered for accurate spare shots. The Sniper™ series stands out because of the reputation for incredible cover resiliency. Typical polyester spare balls are brittle, and it’s common for them to chip and damage easily. The Silver Sniper™ might just be a spare ball, but it demonstrates the MOTIV® commitment to quality and innovation.

The Crusher has a low RG, high differential, and a strong intermediate differential, which translates into a strong roll, lots of flare, and great continuation. The core, along with Optimize Hybrid cover and a dull 2000-grit Siaair finish, makes the Crusher an excellent choice to combat heavy oil conditions.

Ebonite is at it one more time! Ebonite’s Game Breaker and One lines produce exceptional results, and we’re excited to introduce The One Reverb this season. The One Reverb is the first One ball to feature HK22 with the Cohesion additive and is polished to ensure it reads the backend harder than any other ball in The One series. HK22, Cohesion, and the GB additives combined with arguably the most successful asymmetric core shape in Ebonite’s history will make this the most angular ball in The One series yet.

The throwback balls for Columbia 300 continue to bring performance to the lanes that capture the attention of the bowlers. Columbia 300 has worked hard with every throwback release to use attributes from the balls that made them successful in their era and infuse new technology to make them leading products in today’s environment. The Cuda line is a great example. We started with a similar core shape as the original Cuda/C, and we replaced the non-drillable ceramic nugget with PowerCOR for the same results but in a driller-friendly version. The major upgrade to the line has been the coverstock technology, and the Super Cuda PowerCOR uses Formula 1 Hybrid. This cover was chosen because of its strength in oil and how it provides Columbia 300 with a motion unlike anything else in the current line.
